For the Just a woman who loves baby yoda and halloween shirt so you should to go to store and get this first time since the brand’s last launch, a year and a half ago, Thornton has debuted an addition to the Klur family: the Supreme Seed, a purification mask that’s ideal for sensitive skin. “A lot of clay masks have high pHs. Once you mix them with water, the pH goes up, so people find themselves more irritated and dry after,” she explains. By contrast, Supreme Seed “is not going to tug at the skin; it never dries down hard or flakes.” You can layer an oil underneath it and leave on the mask for 15 minutes. During that time, the mask will press the nutrients from the oil into your skin, thanks to the MSM (a pure, collagen-enhancing organic sulfur) inside of the mask. The added bonus? When you remove the mask, it goes off as a cleanser that you can massage into the skin and then rinse off.

Aside from enjoying her new mask, these days Thornton takes pleasure in a simple hair-care routine, mixing her own herbal hair oil composed of cedarwood, patchouli, and jasmine. But, like for many others, working from home since March has come with its hurdles. To stay balanced she incorporates daily self-care rituals into her routine, including walks, plant care, and eating more vegetables. “In June I adopted a mostly plant-based diet, which requires a lot of preparation. So cooking has now become my favorite creative outlet and definitely keeps me sane,” she says. But what truly keeps her going through the Just a woman who loves baby yoda and halloween shirt so you should to go to store and get this ups and downs is giving back to the Black community. “For the past four months I have worked with a local grassroots organization called SummaEveryThang,” a food restoration project founded by artist and activist Lauren Halsey. “It is devoted to serving low-income families in South Central Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Thus far, the team has delivered 11,600 organic food boxes where there is no natural/wellness food store in sight. Each box is a week’s worth of the most beautifully sourced, abundant fresh produce and feeds a family of three to four adults,” says Thornton. “I find this work feeds my soul, and working hands-on in my community is my wellness routine for the foreseeable future.”
